December 08, 2025, Ondas Holdings Inc., a premier supplier of intelligent autonomous aerial and ground robotics, has declared its intention to invest as much as US$ 11 million in Drone Fight Group (DFG), a Ukrainian firm specializing in sophisticated unmanned aerial systems. This capital infusion, managed via the company's strategic advisory and investment arm, Ondas Capital, represents Ondas' inaugural planned financial commitment to bolster Ukrainian defense technologies with proven battlefield experience.
This strategic initiative aims to bolster U.S. and allied defense modernization objectives by facilitating the domestic manufacturing and comprehensive customer support for these proven combat systems inside the United States, in strict adherence to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
Accelerating Access to Combat-Proven Capabilities
This collaboration simplifies the procedure for partner countries to integrate DFG's advanced unmanned systems, which have undergone extensive testing and enhancement within the rigorous combat conditions of Ukraine. DFG's portfolio includes precision-strike FPV platforms, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance drones, autonomous mission systems, and cutting-edge drone simulators—each one reflecting core battlefield tenets of rapid adaptation and mission effectiveness. With the backing of Ondas Capital, Ondas will aid DFG’s international growth, creating fresh avenues for these technologies to enhance ongoing defense modernization efforts.
Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas, remarked, “Ukraine has become the proving ground for modern unmanned systems, driving unprecedented innovation under real operational pressures. Our planned investment in Drone Fight Group represents a deliberate step to bring this combat-proven innovation into the United States and allied industrial base. Through Ondas Capital, we are building a bridge that accelerates access to high-impact autonomous capabilities that meet urgent mission needs.”
Strengthening U.S. and Allied Defense Modernization
This partnership aims to strengthen the defense industrial capabilities among allied countries by integrating battle-tested technologies. Ondas anticipates that its backing of DFG will expand access to flexible, scalable unmanned systems customized for defense and homeland security operations. Ondas Capital will additionally offer strategic guidance to help position DFG's technologies for long-term procurement initiatives in both U.S. and global markets. To formally launch these systems, Ondas Capital will showcase DFG at a pioneering U.S. event in Silicon Valley, where defense sector leaders and investors will have the opportunity to view the drones and receive first-hand insights from the Ukrainian team that designs and operates them on the front lines.
A Model for Global Unmanned Systems Ecosystems
This investment supports Ondas' strategy for multi-domain unmanned systems, broadening the Company's technological ecosystem to include aerial, ground, and counter-UAS platforms. DFG manages a comprehensive “innovation circle,” merging sophisticated R&D, swift-production manufacturing, AI-augmented simulation, and battle-tested operational expertise. This closed-loop development approach allows DFG to iterate at high speed, quickly enhancing designs using live combat feedback and shifting threat environments. This approach creates a framework for integrating operationally validated autonomous systems into the defense industrial ecosystems of allied nations.
Outlook and Strategic Significance
The strategic partnership between Ondas and DFG has the capacity to significantly accelerate the fielding of mature defense technologies through commercial channels. As the need for scalable, cost-effective, and operationally proven unmanned solutions grows, the market for advanced autonomous systems is expected to continue its expansion. Bolstered by strategic capital and industry expertise that enhance both market presence and regional customization, alliances of this nature—combining digital and financial strengths—are positioned to serve as primary catalysts for growth in the dynamic defense technology landscape.
